As a result, Supply Heroes are recruiting an Education Recruitment Consultant to join their growing team in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. The ideal candidate will; * Who operates ethically and with integrity at all times * Will place Safeguarding children as the highest priority in your role * Have a desire to positively impact children’s lives * Be investigative and a good judge of the information presented to you * Have a natural affinity to build relationships with your team, candidates and schools * Be able to work in a fast -paced office and industry * Be professional, well-spoken and well presented * A good level of written English * Be well spoken in person and on the phone * Be able to resolve issues fairly and quickly * Be accountable at all times * Be committed to your candidates and schools out of hours if needed * Have a proactive and hard work ethic * Be highly organised with availability * Be self-motivated with a resilient mind set to overcome obstacles and challenge * Be organised and able to multi-task and work in a timely manner especially in busy times which are 7.30am – 9am and 3pm to 4:30pm * Be both a team player as well as using own initiative * Excellent customer service skills; both verbal and written * Be able to manage and prioritise workloads as the demands of the business change on a daily, weekly and termly basis * A confidence in networking and collaborating with a wider partnership; Universities, Colleges, external agencies, other recruitment organisations, Student Fairs, School Fundraising, School Trusts * Growth mindset and an ability to reflect * Be able to work in a timely manner, understand urgency due to the high demand for candidates needed for supply * A desire to be taught knowledge, skills and be able to look at the long-term picture * Although, not contracted to, understand that working out of hours to build relationships will be beneficial to their desk and thus commission * A strong desire to grow financially and work towards the future of the business and themselves * Be able to learn quickly and remember availability of candidates Main Duties and Responsibilities: Always uphold the good reputation of Supply Heroes in any case or event Objective: To support schools with their emergency, daily, temporary and long-term staffing Attract, recruit and screen / appropriately vet a pool of teachers and support staff from Job boards, adverts, networking by sourcing, interviewing and liaising with compliance. Remembering that Safeguarding children is a shared responsibility across the team. Interviewing candidates on Teams, face to face and in schools, building relationships and matching to suitable roles Managing a steady stream of candidates to help grow desk, sharing where necessary and to work in partnership with other consultants for the benefit of Supply Heroes and its reputation. Maintain regular and daily contact with candidates Collaborate with Compliance to ensure candidates are fully cleared for work Be able to write profiles in good written English with the correct terminology Once established schools to work with, using a growing skill set (business development; calls, face to face meetings, to form and grow relationships in order to gain information of roles and cover within the school. This is business development and crucial to your growth Proactively develop new schools by bringing them on board to further develop your desk and grow your network and arrange client visits with schools and Leaders confidently Be motivated to manage supply cover on an hourly, daily, weekly, termly and yearly basis by emails and phone calls including text) Work within your team to help you learn and grow your desk. Ask schools for face-to-face meetings and be confident to win business as well as network at universities and Supply Heroes events Maintain up to date industry knowledge Learn and be confident to discuss pay and charge rates with candidates and schools and understand on-cost, margin and what this means for commission and your financial growth Working in a collaborative environment supporting the growth of the existing two desks Meet and exceed key business goals as an individual and as part of the team Learning to use CRM Matchmaker effectively Reviewing your performance to continually improve Details Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time. Hours of Work: 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday (with a 1-hour break) Starting Salary; Dependent on experience Clear Commission Structure 15 - 22% (uncapped and from your first £1 billed) Car driver with own car for work – essential Benefits Market Competitive commission structure – clear and transparent 35 Days Annual Leave to be taken during the school holidays + Bank Holidays (43 in Total) A maximum of 5 term time days holiday Reduced hours during school holidays (8am – 2pm or 9am – 3pm with a 30-minute break) Laptop and phone for business use only Team Events & Incentives Hybrid Working – Options to work from home 1 day per week (once probation is passed) If you’re interested, please apply now with your CV or get in touch.
